  • There is a two-dollar replacement fee for lost cards.
  • If your card is over one year old and showing signs of wear, we will replace it free of charge.

Cancellation Policy

  • Contracts may be cancelled without any penalty or further obligation within three (3) days from the agreement date. After three (3) days, we require 15 days notice before your bill date if you wish to cancel your month-to-month membership. We do not require notice for cancelling any paid in full membership
  • Cancellations cannot be taken over the phone. They must be in writing. We encourage you to fill out a written cancellation form at the front desk. If this is not feasible, you have the option of e-mail (info@ignite-fitness.com) or mail. However, if the cancellation is e-mailed or sent through non-certified mail, we cannot guarantee receipt. We have no control over whether it arrives in our offices. Therefore, it is your responsibility to call and confirm we received your cancellation notice. Any refund, if due, will be mailed within 15 days of cancellation.
  • By New York State Law, you may also cancel this contract for any of the following reasons:
  1. If upon a doctor's order, you cannot physically receive the services because of significant physical disability for a period in excess of six months.
  2. If you die, your estate shall be relieved of any further obligation for payment under the contract not then due and owing.
  3. If you move your residence more than twenty-five miles away from any health club operated by the seller (you must provide proof of new residence).
  4. If the services of the club cease to be offered as stated in the contract.
  • If you are canceling for a medical condition that prevents you from working out for more than six months or you are moving more than 25 miles away, you must bring in proof of your situation. (Either a copy of your lease in your name at your new address or two bills if you are moving, or a doctor's note for a medical condition.)
  • Your cancellation fee will be 20% of months remaining on your membership.
  • Month-to-month memberships are non-cancelable for the first six months with the exception of the above four reasons. After six months of billing, you may cancel your month-to-month membership for any reason, but you still must provide Ignite Fitness with 15 days notice before your bill date.

  • Memberships may be put on freeze for no charge up to six months if you are medically unable to use the gym and have a doctor's written notice indicating length of absence.  Freezes will begin when the note and completed paperwork are delivered to the club.
  • Monthly dues memberships and 1-year paid in full memberships receive three complimentary freezes per calendar year. Each freeze is for one month exactly.  Freezes may be run consecutively.  We require that you inform us up front as to the length of your freeze.  Memberships may be frozen at any time by completing the freeze form (available at front desk), but unless a freeze is initiated by the 1st of the month, Monthly dues members may not see the freeze reflected in their billing until the following month.
